I haven’t had a wine of the month in quite some time. But sincerest apologies but life caught up with me. This months wine is called Arabella brought from Naked Wines. I love the artwork which depicts the silhouette of a horse. It originates from Western Cape South Africa.( Its a 2016 cabernet sauvignon). I also love the name which has the meaning of “Prayerful”.
The wine was apart of a family business that was split between two brothers. The one that was left with the winery let the Angel rescue him and his business an the rest is history. This wine is smooth baby and tastes really good chilled. I love smooth tasting wines so I am a fan already. It isn’t bitter and not so tasty like other wines I have had.\
I do recommend this wine for new wine drinkers. I believe this will help you adjust well to the wine family. This would go perfectly with a book and sitting by the fire place curled up with your partner. Get your wine glasses !
