What Is SEO / Search Engine Optimization?

I attended a great SEO workshop today. So I decided to do and series of blogs centered around the workshop and what I learned. I am separating all the information so my readers do not get confused. This blog will focus on beginner tips for SEO. Listen if you want your blog to succeed these are some key tips to make that happen.
What is SEO? SEO stands for SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION. It’s one of the most sought out skills that employers look for in who they hire. SEO is really popular and even Linkedin offer courses on it. Basically, it’s the process of promoting a website on the major search engines to increase traffic and sales.
Another term I want to teach you guys today is SCRP which is SEARCH ENGINE RESULTS PAGE. SEO is a large part of our life because the internet plays a big role in our lives. The professional term for Google search is –KEYWORD QUERY. A lot of the time when you see SEO you will see PPC close by. PPC is the pay-per-click on advertisements also known as the banner ads we see a lot on the web in results. SEO is organic traffic that does not have an ad attached to it.
Whew! that was a lot of information. I hope you guys understand why I broke it down. I previously blogged about how I wanted to learn more about SEO , look at the universe. That blog is here >>Blogging Goals For 2019 . Stay tuned to the blogs that follow behind this topic. Leave your feedback and suggestions!
